At Plant’s Choice, a large portion of our client base is from the residential sector. With over 20 years catering to customers who visit our yard looking for a “truck load” or “trailer load” of material, you are sure to leave our yard pleased with your experience!

Our knowledgeable and friendly staff can help you choose the right material for the right application. Please ask us for assistance in determining how much material is needed for your job.

We carry compost blends for the garden and lawn, natural wood mulches, coloured mulches, stone, Speare’s grass seed and a wide variety of plants at our greenhouses. Materials are available by bulk or bags – pick up or delivery available.

Our products are sold by the cubic yard (which is a volume measurement as opposed to a weight measurement). We will also sell by the ½yd3, and if even smaller amounts are needed, we encourage people to bring their own containers (such as a blue box) to load their own. We have no minimums on material! Our prices are very reasonable and will be based on the size of the container accordingly.

Our loader operators are very experienced and capable of loading various types of trucks and trailers.

If delivery is required, bulk materials can be delivered by single, tandem or tri-axle dump trucks.  Customers may also arrange for their own pick-up of material at bulk yard. Our normal delivery area is anywhere within the Niagara Region, however charges will depend on the size of the order and the distance of delivery. Every time a purchase of bulk soil, mulch or stone is made at the full retail price, you receive a customer appreciation card which we stamp for every ½yd3 purchase. Collect enough stamps and you are eligible to choose from the above. Plants in our give-away are available to be picked up at our greenhouses at our 270 Humberstone Road location. There are many plants to browse, so have fun making your choice!
